Sarawak Cultural Village
The award winning “Sarawak Cultural Village” is located at the foot of Mt. Santubong, 45 minutes away from Kuching City. It is a “Living Museum” that depicts the heritage of the major racial groups in Sarawak such as the Bidayuh, Iban, Penan, Orang Ulu, Melanau, Malay & Chinese.
If you do not have time for longhouse tours, this is an ideal substitute to catch a glance of their respective lifestyle. The beautiful traditional houses are simply breathtaking! It is also a great place for handicraft lovers.
One of the highlights is the Cultural Show. There are two performances each day and each performance goes for 45 minutes.
